Mr. Daryl Ward » Home

Hello! My name is Daryl Ward. I grew up in Whittier, CA (same hometown as Mr. Woodward) and graduated from Sierra H.S. in 1979. In the summer of 1979, I was offered a scholarship to play baseball at Chapman University, which I accepted. After graduating from college I did my student teaching at Diamond Bar H.S. in the fall of 1984 and accepted a teaching job Physical Education at Sparks Middle School in the Hacienda/La Puente District, where I taught and coached for 9 years. This is my second tour of duty in the WVUSD. My first teaching experience was in the fall of 1984 at Walnut H.S. I also coached baseball from 1984 - 1986 at Diamond Bar H.S. where I was very fortunate to be a part of the 1985 CIF championship Brahma baseball team. I came to South Pointe in 1993.
