Please check your child's Agenda daily for homework information.  Students must have the current folder with them AT ALL TIMES so they can complete the assignments and organize their papers.

  **ALL HOMEWORK IS DUE THE FOLLOWING

DAY UNLESS OTHERWISE STATED. 

COMPLETE BOTH SIDES OF WORKSHEETS UNLESS OTHERWISE STATED. **The following information on classwork and homework is tentative and subject to change.  Check your child's agenda for the most up to date information. 

 

September 18, 2017 - Monday - A,B,C,D,E,F

Please remember NO FRAGRANCES of any kind in my classroom. It is a health and safety issue as it greatly affects my asthma.

Write in your agenda, in ink. Leave your agenda out but closed. 

1. Pass back journals. Turn in page 8. Anyone not finished with page 8?

2. Take the review pop quiz in blue, black, or green pen.

3. Turn in the pop quiz and pick up page 9. Get a laptop. Turn in page 9. 

4. Today we will be working on temperature and reading thermometers.

HOMEWORK: Permission slip for the planetarium field trip, $4 cash, and lunch request form are due no later than Sept. 22.

 

September 19, 2017 - Tuesday B, C, D, E, F, A 

Please remember NO FRAGRANCES of any kind in my classroom. It is a health and safety issue as it greatly affects my asthma.

Write in your agenda, in ink. 

1. Turn in page 9 for period A only.

2. Correct page 4 back in red pen.

3. Lesson on graduated cylinders, journal pages 7 and 7a.

4. Complete the lab on the bottom of page 10 front. Turn in page 10 and we will continue the lab tomorrow.

5. Continue working on page 7 a, both sides.

HOMEWORK: Page 7 a, both sides, if you did not finish. Permission slip for the planetarium field trip, $4 cash, and lunch request form are due no later than Sept. 22.

 

September 20, 2017 - Wednesday C, D, E, F, A, B

Please remember NO FRAGRANCES of any kind in my classroom. It is a health and safety issue as it greatly affects my asthma .

Write in your agenda, in ink. 

1. Have out page 7 and a blue, black, or green pen. Have your journal to use as a cover sheet.

2. Turn in page 7 when I call your name to pick up page 8.

Take the quick quiz on reading a meniscus. Short answers are fine.

3. Turn in page 9 and find your page 10. Begin the top of page 10 while everyone finishes the QQ.

4. You have a wet LAB: Displacement and a dry LAB: Reading a Meniscus.

5. No more than 4 people at a lab at a time. Follow the directions given.

6. Turn in page 10 when you have completed both labs, and pick up page 11.

HOMEWORK: Page 11 is identifying observations and inferences.  Permission slip for the planetarium field trip, $4 cash, and lunch request form are due no later than Sept. 22.

  

September 21, 2017 - Thursday - Late Start    D, E, F, A, B, C

Write in your agenda, in ink.

1. Have out your journal, a red pen, and page 11.

2. Correct page 11 (Observation and Inference) and turn it in.

3. Pick up pages 12 and 13.

4. Lesson on using and reading a triple beam balance.

5. LAB: Measuring Mass, page 12 front.

6. Explain the extra credit Narrative assignment on page 13 back.

HOMEWORK: Page 13 (both sides) if you did not finish. Page 13 narrative is extra credit if you choose to complete it. Turn in your journal tomorrow after adding pages. Permission slip for the planetarium field trip, $4 cash, and lunch request form are due no later than Sept. 22.

 

 

September 22, 2017 - Friday- E, F, A, B, C, D

Write in your agenda, in ink. Anyone not done with page 13?

1. Pass back papers. Turn in page 13.

2. Add pages 7 - 11 to the brads. 

3. Correct page 7A front and back. Correct page 10.

4. Turn in the journal to the correct period basket.

5. Finish your lab from yesterday, page 12 front.  Turn in page 12.

6. Get a laptop.
